Geezer Rant

This past week I had a student choose to not dress out for PE class. He willingly chose an F for the day, with no chance of making that day up. 90% of a PE students grade is daily participation. On top of the dress cut, he asked to leave class early. He had been to his counselor as well with this same request. The reason for this non-educational behavior?

To decorate a car and ask a young lady to attend the winter formal with him. Romantic, yes. Wise, not very.

I am really getting old and cynical.
